Cradle ring
Holds the jar at the heart of the system.
FROM SEED TO SYSTEM
A familiar mason jar. A thoughtfully designed stand. Sprouter is a 3D-printable project exploring a simpler way to rinse, tilt, and drain your sprouts.
Designed in FreeCAD · Manual prototype · Made to evolve
A FEW PARTS. A SHARED PURPOSE.
A cradle ring, a base frame, two pivot pins, two retaining clips, an indexing pin, and a drain tray. Eight printed pieces designed around a wide-mouth quart mason jar and mesh lid.
Holds the jar at the heart of the system.
Gives the cradle a stable place to stand.
Two small connectors for the intended tilt motion.
Collects water beneath the jar.
THE IDEA IS SIMPLE
A hands-on first phase, with a path toward automation as the design develops.
Add water through the mesh lid and gently swirl the jar.
The cradle is designed to tilt the jar mouth-down, letting water flow into the tray below.
Return to the rinse-and-drain routine as your sprouts develop.
